Description of the problem | Takata recall - driver's front airbag inflator. We have been waiting over 60 days for parts and replacement of driver's front airbag inflator for our 2010 honda crv. Watermark honda in paducah, ky put us on waiting list for parts and repair on 07-07-2016 but they still do not have the parts. We received takata recall letter in march 2016 saying parts would be available in summer 2016. On 07-07-2016 we were put on waiting list and have called twice to ask if parts were in. Each time, watermark honda has checked and confirmed we are still on waiting list, and said they will call us as soon as parts are in. So, all total we have been waiting over 6 months for parts to be available and over 60 days for an unsafe vehicle to be repaired! |
