Description of the problem | Takata recall: honda is doing a poor job of notifying customers of their airbag recall. I received only one letter when their airbag problem was announced, but no notifications since. I have been tracking the recall status on their website using my vin#, however it continues to indicate "recall incomplete. Remedy not yet available. Frustrated by this safety concern, i finally called my local honda dealer for update and they casually stated they would order an airbag and install it in two days. What?? Why is honda not notifying owners that a fix is available? This is outrageous and irresponsible! |
