Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2016 honda cr-v. The contact stated that the engine would not start after several attempts. The vehicle's battery was jumped and the contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic. No defects were detected. After experiencing the same failure multiple times, the vehicle's alternator and battery were replaced by the independent mechanic. The contact's wife was driving 60 mph, the battery indicator and the air bag warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle then shut off, which caused her to lose complete control of the vehicle. The contact's wife was able to slowly steer the vehicle to the side of the road where it completely died. The vehicle would not restart and was towed to the same independent mechanic where the battery and alternator replaced. The vehicle was diagnosed again, but no failure was found. The vehicle continued not to start after multiple attempts. The contact was able to attach a component to the vehicle, provided by the mechanic, that would prevent the vehicle from failing. The contact was able to take the vehicle to an independent mechanic from where the vehicle was purchased. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired.
