Description of the problem | The tire monitoring pressure system on my 2016 honda crv has alarmed 3 times in the past 10 days with no significant tire pressure problem found. I took it to my local honda dealer for an inspection of the problem. The service rep stated that because i had replaced the passenger rear tire with a different model, not size tire, the tpms is prone to frequent false alarms. Due to some on-line research, i have become aware of a honda software tsb14-006 that should remedy my problem. Should honda notify me of this update? |
