Description of the problem | I bought a 2017 honda crv touring three months ago. On 11/11/2017, it was hesitating to start. Once it did, all my sensors went off so i took it up to the shop and dropped it off and got a loaner. They assumed a weak battery. On monday, 11/13/2017, i was informed by the service department that a rat had chewed through my engine wire harness and it was not covered under the warranty. I would have to pay over 1600. 00 for parts and labor. I started to research this issue and can see where it is a known problem. I feel like this is something that should be covered under the warranty and not be able to make money off of people who pay good money for brand new vehicles. It is a safety issue because if you are driving and your car just shuts down, what then?? |
