Description of the problem | Vehicle does not shut down when turned off. This causes a high parsitic draw on the battery which causes the vehicle not to start in a matter of hours. Honda posted a service bulletin stating what the problem is and how to fix it.. Service bulletin 17-032. The service manager stated he never heard of it. Then he went on to say even if there is a software update, honda will not alow him to do it unless absolutely necessary because of the labor charge to honda. My battery blew up releasing toxic gasses filling the exterior of the car which contain my wife and kids at the time. They gave me a new battery. |
