Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2017 honda cr-v. The contact stated that after the vehicle underwent an oil change, it hesitated to accelerate. The vehicle was taken to classic honda of midland (3705 w wall st, midland, tx 79703, (432) 681-1400) where it was diagnosed that the entire turbo system was blown. The dealer received authorization from the manufacturer to perform tests to see who was liable for the damage. The independent mechanic who performed the oil change stated that the engine malfunctioned. The independent mechanic ran tests on the oil filter and concluded that the manufacturer was at fault for the turbo system failure. The manufacturer was currently contesting the claim.
