Description of the problem | After reading articles delineating that the 2017 and 2018 honda crv 1. 5l turbo charged engines were receiving complaints regarding fuel mixing with the oil, i checked the oil and found that the dipstick was above the upper mark by a quarter of an inch and the oil smelled like gasoline. Changed the oil and found that the oil viscosity was runny and the old oil had a strong fuel smell. Prior to changing the oil, i had been noticing a fuel smell from time to time within the passenger compartment of the car while driving. |
