Description of the problem | Took crv into dealer due to engine oil smelling strong of gasoline. Was told they looked over the car and could not determined why and that the odor was normal. Was also told this is normal due to having a turbo engine yet told my vin # falls into the effected "oil over full' issue and i have an extra year of power terrain warranty. To my knowledge, oil level was only slightly elevated. Nothing was done to remedy the issue, no service bulletin or oil change. Crv only has 19500 miles. No check engine light or running issues. Engine oil appears dirty yet onboard system states that oil life is at 50%. |
