Description of the problem | The car inappropriately braked, full stop, two times. The last event occurred on jan 9, 2021. We reported both incidents to the dealer. The car was inspected after the first incident in july 2019, and the technician could not replicate. We were informed the car is working as designed. The second discussion with the dealer (jan 11, 2021) resulted in the recommendation of adjusting the sensor length under customize features. It was described as a possible improvement but not a guarantee to fix the problem. We will make the adjustment tonight. Both occasions, the stop occurred while driving straight at slow speeds with nothing in front of the vehicle, and luckily no one behind. It was alarming that a safety feature could cause an accident.
