Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2017 honda cr-v. The contact stated that fuel was mixing into the engine oil. The contact became aware by local media that the honda vehicles was having fuel mixing into the engine oil. Therefore, the contact checked the engine dipstick and noticed that the vehicle dipstick emitted a strong fuel odor. The vehicle was taken to an unknown dealer. The dealer replaced the engine oil twice. However, the failure was not corrected the contact checked the engine dipstick and found that the dipstick was still emitting a strong fuel odor. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted. The manufacturer provided the contact with case number: 09036858 and advised the contact that he would receive a notice when they had a remedy for the failure. The failure mileage was 8,000. |
