Description of the problemMy 2017 cr-v ex-l has the oil dilution issue. Currently reading 1. 5 inches higher than the max fill line on the dipstick. Vehicle smells so bad... Like sulfur smell or gas. It is an overpowering smell and makes me nauseous. This can occur after idling for a few minutes, or after driving on a highway for 30 minutes. It is not just a short driving distance issue. Honda has known about this issue for years, and yet continues to sell the vehicle. They have not come up with a fix that works. Taking it in to the dealer tomorrow. After driving this for 2 years with this issue, i can only imagine the amount of damage on my engine. This is a safety issue. Fumes that fill the inside of the vehicle are not healthy or safe. At some point, the oil issue could be a fire hazard or the engine could fail at any moment. Why is honda not being forced to fix this with a recall and/or buy back these vehicles?
