Description of the problem | In cold weather, when the car isn't to full operating temperature, fuel mixes with the engine oil which increases the oil volume over time. Honda has issued a recall in northern states but refuses to address other states where the problem exists (problem fully documented from the local dealer). Recall needs to be expanded to all states. Too much engine oil (mixed with fuel) will cause the car to stall. In addition, after talking to honda corporate - they indicated a potential long term impact with damaged a cam shaft. Yet, they still refuse to fix my car or provide free oil changes until they decide to fix it. This has been an ongoing issue for over a year - fully documented. |
