Description of the problem | We repeatably have the smell of gas in the car (tubo-charged crv) and in my garage after filling the gas tank. I've seen no leakage on the garage floor but the smell of gas is overwhelming. Likewise it is a sickening smell in the car. I think this is a tremendous safety issue since i have a gas fired furnace and hot water heater in the garage - i open the garage door to air it out for fear of a fire. I understand that honda has been looking into the gas smell issue but no recall has been issued. For safety sake when is something going to be done? |
