Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2017 honda cr-v. The contact was driving less then 20 mph when the vehicle failed to accelerate. The low power warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that an oil burning odor was detected. The contact's husband changed the oil on 3/3/21 and noticed the vehicle was leaking oil a quart over fuel and had gasoline in the oil. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic for diagnosis. The manufacturer was notified and offered no assistance. The local dealer was notified and the contact was told to bring the vehicle in to schedule a recall repair appointment. The contact stated she can not take the vehicle in at the moment because she just changed the oil. The contact felt the vehicle was unsafe to drive. The failure mileage was 27,400. |
