Description of the problem | Shifter knob broke and fell off gear shifter while in motion upon further investigation i found that honda had issued a service bulletin 19-063 describing the same exact issue as had happened to our vehicle and it referenced nhtsa #10160912 but the service bulletin is vin specific and honda is stating that our vehicle is not covered for repair under this service bulletin. I am questioning them further but it is the same problem as described in the bulletin so maybe the recall/product update needs to be looked at further so that in the future drivers don't experience the shifter knob falling off the gear selector while in motion. |
