Description of the problem	Vehicle was shut off at a tire shop to get new tires put on. Upon attempting to start the car again, a warning showed up on the screen saying "electronic brake failure". The car is equipped with electronic brakes that automatically turn on when the car is put into park and turned off. They are supposed to turn back off when the car is started, but on this occasion they were unable to turn back off. This stopped the car from being able to start at all, multiple indicators on the dash were throwing errors, the check engine light was on, the brake light was flashing, and it continued to show "electronic brake failure". When the dealership was contacted they said there wasn't anything they could do but to tow it 2 hours away to look at it, then they suggested disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes to get the brakes to release, which was done and did release the brakes and clear the error. Because the battery was removed, any codes stored were cleared so when it was brought in the car showed that everything was fine and they were unable to reproduce the issue. It seems to be a common enough issue now on all new hondas with the electronic brake feature to the point that googling it will come up with multiple forums talking about it.
