Description of the problem | I own the car for 3 years and 10 month and did not notice any issue with the breaking system until today on 10/15/2020. My brother was driving the car and the car all of sudden stop completely when start slowly pressing the on brake pedal. He was approaching a bump with steel plate covering the gap on a bridge and start to slow down to 25mph and the car sudden break hard and stop completely causing him and the passenger to shovel forward. He then heard two beeps. There wasn't any car in a close range. After about 5 seconds, he can then able to step on the gas pedal. Sound like some issue with the automatic emergency braking technology. |
