Description of the problem | Broken shift button: i was driving this car and the shift button pop out and fell under the driver seat. It created an unsafe condition since i could not put the car to park or shift any gear. Many drivers also experience the same thing. The button is connected to the shift gear and it is made from a cheap piece of plastic. It costs $85 to replace at the dealer. Honda refuses to reimburse since the car has past its warranty. The car is at 50000 miles. I had to pick it up under the seat and use a hair band to keep it in place until it is repaired at the dealer. |
