Description of the problem | The vehicle's shift knob button came loose and fell out. At the time, i was parking the vehicle in a parking lot and attempting to shift it from drive to park. In addition to the button, a metal spring and many pieces of broken plastic fell out of the shift knob. Fortunately i was able to jam a screwdriver into the shift knob and shift the vehicle into park. The vehicle had just over 12,000 miles when this happened. |
