Description of the problem | While traveling down the highway, our transmission stopped working. We had it towed to the local honda shop and the confirmed that the transmission needed to be replaced and it would cost aprox. $5,800. 00. 37 months ago honda replaced the transmission the 1st time because of a recall. When we spoke to honda, they told us they did not warranty recalls. So, now our primary source of transportation for our family is now worth $500. 00. We think honda either replaced the recalled transmission with an inferior product to save money, or used the same recalled transmission to replace our factory transmission. If we had known there was no warranty on recalled repairs, we would have done things differently. |
