Description of the problemBrakes feel squishy for late model car, seems to get worse. Haven't had a crash, but read recently announced engineering probe related to this issue and thought i'd chime in. Honda's stance on this, from the docs posted in conjunction w/ the launch of the engineering probe, seems to be basically after a couple years the brakes will not engage (pedal will hit floor before engaging), but hopefully before this the user will know because the travel distance of pedal will gradually increase. Are you kidding me?!?!? This is scary! Most of the soccer moms i know that drive odysseys will *not* even feel the squishy brakes -- they'll just think it to be normal b/c in most cars the problem is stable -- doesn't get worse! Maybe the recall should be "if you see an odyssey coming', get the heck out of the way! !" please force a recall before somebody gets killed! Shame on honda for such a dumb-headed response to this serious issue.
