Model | ODYSSEY |

File date | 03/02/10 |

Product type code | VEHICLE |
Description of the problem | When braking, the vehicle's brake pedal travels unusually farther to the floor than normal, and leads to improper and extraordinary braking techniques necessary to safely execute a stop. Putting this vehicle into the hands of a minimally experienced young driver could result in unexpected vehicle performance and loss of control. This is by no means "standard" or "normal" as my local honda dealer says it is. This is not in line with other honda vehicles, either; it is an aberration they are not addressing. The resulting customer dissatisfaction is mounting, and needs to be addressed by our transportation officials to force honda to address and resolve this issue. |
