Description of the problem | Rear brakes make constant grinding/squeaking. Known problem to honda for all 2005-2008 models of odyssey van. Honda claims there is no fix, but they're aware of the issue. With the brakes making noise all the time, it makes it difficult for consumers to determine if there's actually a problem, which may lead to people ignoring actual brake issues. I own a 2007, and personally know of people with 2005 and 2006 models that have the same exact problem. In fact, everyone i meet that drives one, i ask if they have the problem and the answer is always yes. I find it amazing that honda knows about a problem that is so widespread and affects a major safety function on the vehicles, but no one does anything about it. |
