Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2007 honda odyssey. While driving approximately 35 mph and approaching a traffic light, the vehicles stability assist "vsa" warning light indicator illuminated on the instrument panel. Unexpectedly, the brake system began to lock. The driver moved off the road and shut off the engine. The vehicle restarted without the illumination of the warning indicator and resumed normal operation. Moments later, the failure persisted. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer where the brakes were unlocked under the factory warranty. The identical failure occurred on a separate occasion. The dealer advised the contact that the brakes melted and replaced the calipers and brake drums. The failure mileage was 7,500 and the current mileage was unknown. |
