Description of the problem | No crashes known to me at this date. Condition of the brake pedal approaching the floor board during the inital application mainat stop lights and when approaching another vehicle has been evident for probably for a year. The pedal height increases with repeated pedal applications but after a short period the loss of correct brake application for the stop needed required is again repeated by the excess drop of brake pedal. With the pedal at its lowest travel point contact with the gas pedal can occur. Brake fluid level in the reservoir was always correct; brake clippers and pads are in good condition; no fliud leaks are eviident at th resevoir;caliper connections; or fluid leaks whichmight be seen at any fliud line connecters. |
