Description of the problem | The automatic sliding doors of the 2007 honda odyssey ex-l entrapped my 5 year olds left hand at the back of the door. He has swelling, bruising, and abrasions. It does not appear that there is permanent damage. However, the proximity of the seat and seat belt to the rear door jam is conducive for this type of injury. The door should immediately reverse if it encounters any resistance to closing at any part of the door. It currently only stops it's motion if the front part of the door encounters significant force. |
