Description of the problem	2013 honda odyssey bought new in april 2013 from honda of pasadena (ca). At approximately one year of age and 12,000 miles i experience a (somewhat violent) 'shimmy' in the steering wheel when braking at freeway speeds. Specifically, when required to brake quickly from 70/75 mph to 50/55 mph. At just over 15,000 and having come off a lengthy road trip where problem began to really scare us, we took the van to the dealer. They road tested it and got it on the rack and said the rotors were warped and needed to be resurfaced ($223 vs. New of about $600). I asked the service writer about the need for resurfacing rotors at such low mileage (brakes pads over 9mm thick). I was told that it's common in odysseys!! The repair is not covered under warranty (no brake or tire issues are covered by mfg warranty). After reading numerous websites about the issue, i am very concerned that i will have a recurring problem. Honda has issued recalls in older model odyssey's (2006-2010). When will they fix this safety issue?
