Description of the problem | The car has 23,000 miles and is exactly 3 years old. This problem has been present for 10,000 miles and for over a year. When traveling at highway speeds and then depressing the brakes, for example to slow down for an exit ramp, the steering wheel vibrates violently and the brakes vibrate. This is not the antilock brakes activating because it is not a short stop -- it occurs during gradual stops or slowing down. Honda dealer says the front brake rotors are "warped." i have seen countless complaints of this same problem all over the internet and here at the nhtsa website. Honda refuses to correct the problem under warranty. |
