Description of the problem | Driving on the highway, check engine light started flashing and car begin misfiring. Had to drive very slow because of the safety issues related to misfire for a few miles to get the car off the highway. Got car to repair ship and they replaced all spark plugs because they were in bad shape and one no longer worked. The car ran fine after that. 4 months later while on highway same misfire happened. I took car to honda dealership and said the o-rings need replaced. They tried to get honda to pay for repairs because they said it's the same issue that led to a class action lawsuit for 2011-2013 honda odysseys. In that case the "piston rings in certain cylinders may rotate and align, leading to engine oil consumption and spark plug fouling." honda of america said they would not pay to fix my vehicle even though its the same issue. |
