Description of the problem | I own a 2017 honda pilot. It has 28,000 miles on it. There have been 5 times in the last 3 months that while driving less than 40 mph, the collision mitigation braking system engaged and caused the vehicle to brake without warning. I sent an email with a full description of the issue to van's honda in green bay, wisconson. I received a phone call back and was told that the system is overly sensitive. There is a camera on the windshield and it sometimes picks up a glare. The rep at van's said the car can not be repaired. |
