Description of the problem | Around 30000 miles, the car started showing slgns of sluggishness. Concerns that were voiced to the dealership during routine maintenance were met with comments that they didn't see an issues. Then at about 45000 miles, the check engine light came on indicating an emissions problem (p0430: catalyst system efficiency below threshold (bank 2)). After investigation by the dealer, they said that the fuel injectors need to be replaced at a significant cost. After doing some research i have read that this is a common complaint from this cohort of vehicle owners. |
