Description of the problem | Navi-screen goes black, instrument panel goes black. This occurred in oct. 2019 while on a long trip. Unpredictable & unreliable, couldn't use navigation system at all--occasionally booted up & would work for a few hours at a time. Chapman honda tucson was able to fix the problem but had to keep our vehicle for many days. Has now reoccurred, began in mid-july & continues to malfunction consistently. Although mechanically the vehicle works well, it is quite distracting & a big safety issue for me, to have no instrument panel or other visual data to rely on while driving. Computer screen/dash panel/navigation system simply quits; it appears to happen independently of the mechanical working of the vehicle, ie, in all situations, all times of day or night, any & all road or weather conditions. |
