Description of the problem | In my 2011 hyundai elantra, the airbag light is constantly on. This seemed like a safety issue and so i took it to the hyundai dealership that i purchased the car from and they quoted me $300. 00 to replace the clock spring. After doing some research, i have noticed this is an ongoing issue with this car and that i am definitely not the only hyundai elantra car owner this has happened to. Without the $300. 00 to replace the clock spring, the air bags will not deploy in the event of a collison. How is this a safety issue and therefore not on a recall list? |
