Description of the problem | The left front mcpherson strut cracked and the spring punctured the tire. The car was towed to the dealer for repair. The dealer said that the right front spring was also broken except where it broke the spring did not damage the right front tire. The car was moving but slowly, thankfully at the time. I never had a spring break on any car i have ever owned, much less two springs on the same car. There is a recall for the same thing but hyundai corporation says my car was not in the recall.
