Description of the problem | 2100 miles and the digital and analog speed odometer both stopped working. The gas gauge also acted erratic. It wasn't showing the gas as full but the tank had just been completely filled (picture has example of both). Dealership unplugged the battery and reset the vehicle to factory settings and fixed the problem. I work for a car electrical component manufacturing supplier and it is believed this is caused by software within the instrument cluster because the speed odometer and the fuel gas aren't connected within the vehicle. |
