Description of the problem | During a heavy rain storm went through a low lying area at low speed (25 mph) where several inches of water had ponded. The fca system slammed on the brakes temporarily even though there was no known obstacle. My guess is that the fca sensed the water as an obstacle causing the brakes to be incorrectly applied. Had someone been behind me, it could have caused an accident. The fca sensors are on the very bottom of the front so it is possible that the sensors were momentarily submerged. |
