Description of the problem | Windshield cracked at just 400 miles while ironically the car was at a detail shop and they were installing exoshield that is supposed to prevent rock chips and cracks. The windshield shattered in the lower right corner way down by the hood area while the installer was re-attaching the trim around the glass and popping the clips back in. This is not normal for glass to crack like this from normal activity especially when it wasn't even hit. The glass shouldn't break from touching it, cleaning it, etc. Also, on day 1 right after buying the car while i was driving back from the dealer something hit it and caused a small rock chip which i repaired myself. Never had this occur on day 1. That is why i was willing to pay for protection field to avoid this. Unacceptable. |
