Description of the problem | My car had a engine recall. However, the recall was only extended to 10 years of the date and to 120,000 miles on the car. I bought the car with 115,000 miles on the car from bayway lincoln and did not receive any paperwork detailing about the engine recall. I typed in my car in vin and a recall came up for the past, but my car is not valid anymore. Hyundai says that will not fix the recall because its pass 120,000 miles. If i never received any paperwork in the mail from hyundai detailing about the recall how would i have known to get it fixed. I was not informed about this recall and two other recalls. Now, i have to either buy a brand-new engine or get a new car because i was not informed of the recall and now hyundai refuses to hold up their end. I should have been informed of this by hyundai. |
