Description of the problem | It initially started around a couple of months ago. I was driving and my oil light came on. I took it to the dealership thinking it was not topped off correctly since the last oil change 2,700 miles prior to the light turning on. The dealership says "there was no oil on the dipstick." performed an oil consumption test. The most recent report showed that my "oil was 3 quarts low". The dealer advised me to trade the car in since i do not have the warranty on my car anymore to fix it. I just bought the car last april. I have maintained the car with it's recommended services and use full synthetic oil. I drive a lot of highway miles, but i take care of my car since it is an investment. I cannot afford to finance another car. Thank you. |
