Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2016 hyundai tucson. While driving 40 mph, the vehicle decelerated and the transmission overheat warning light illuminated. The contact noticed smoke coming from the rear of the vehicle through the rearview mirror. The contact coasted to the side of the road, restarted the vehicle, and was able to resume driving. The failure recurred three times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed, but the technician could not find a failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 5,000. |
