Description of the problem | I just purchased this vehicle a month ago and on numerous occasions the engines revs but it wont drive. Always happens when i'm at a stop or in stop and go traffic. I was almost rear ended because an approaching car didn't see me stopped at the light but i could not go. I tried turning off and on, putting into reverse and nothing. Again the engine revs, sounds like its not in gear. This is a major safety issue that needs addressed. Someone is going to get killed. The problem resolves itself usually after a few minutes but it leaves you stuck in traffic. The drive train, transmission, etc must be defective! I have 3600 miles on the car. I took it to the dealer and they could replicate the problem (of course!). Very little power and lets you get to about 20 miles per hour - very dangerous! I've read online about numerous other people that have the same issue - please help! |
