Description of the problemWhen the car slows down and then speeds up in traffic, turning at stop signs or on street lights, or pulling out onto the street, the engine will hesitate/freeze up.. This results in a delay of movement followed by the car lunging forward when it does begin to drive again, creating a very unsafe and terrifying situation. I initially took it in for the recall on october 6, 2016. Since then i have brought it back to the dealership i purchased it at to fix the issue two more times. When i called back the fourth time i was told to contact hyundai corporate. Hyundai corporate has only told me to not drive in eco mode and to return to the dealership to learn about driving in the three different modes. I have also done that and both of the men in the service department looked very confused and told me hyundai does not tell them to have customers drive in any particular mode. What they did tell me was that given my situation and it happening in all three modes i should use the modes which feels the safest for me. This is in no way a solution as all three modes are potentially life threatening and i experience this multiple times every single time i drive my car.
