Description of the problem | This vehicle has intermittent transmission problems when either starting or speeding up. Aside from the dct lag issue, it may rev up to 4500 w/o moving from a stopped position with light accl pressure. It doesn't like to start moving below ~40f and acts jerkily. The 1. 5-2 sec lag may, or may not, happen even after the 2 ecm fixes. It is unsafe to expect it to behave when trying to merge into heavy traffic as a result - you don't know if it will move or how fast, or when. To quote ralph nader, unsafe at any speed. It has happened repeatedly, though not predictably, since it was bought. |
