Description of the problem | Happened while accelerating after a stop and trying to accelerate after deceleration. When pressed the pedal, complete lack of power. Eventually lurched forward and then decelerate again about 3 times. Pressing the accelerator several times seemed to make it worse. Slowly accelerating helped but was jerky and unsteady. Higher rpms on the highway for no apparent reason. Occurred several times on the ride home that day. Once the car is turned off, the problem is intermittent and the dealership has not been able to recreate it. Brought it to the dealership 3x. It is very dangerous. I bought this car new and am now wondering how i will continue to drive a car that could kill me. Very upsetting. Also, it is a well documented problem and no one seems to be doing anything about it. I hope it won't take someone dying to get this fixed. |
