Description of the problem | Double-clutch transmission hesitation when thinking about starting out or shifting of 1. 5 to 2 seconds. This allows an oncoming vehicle to be 2. 5 car lengths closer and when you are making a left hand turn against on-coming traffic this is life threatening. This does not happen all the time and you don't know when it will happen. It also happens when moving straight. The hyundai dealer told us to keep the drive mode in sport - it happened once in that not nearly as severe. However in sport we get far less miles per gallon (5 miles on average) and the fuel economy was why we bought the vehicle. We also contacted corporate and they informed us the company that made the transmission said, |
