Description of the problem | Car does not accelerate smoothly. When turning from a stop, car hesitates. When merging with traffic, car hesitates. Car accelerates too fast from a stop when temperature is over 85 f. Transmission is too inconsistent. Makes driving this car a gamble with your life. After several repairs by dealer to fix problems, they now say this transmission is a hybrid. It works more like a manual transmission. It was sold as an automatic transmission. Dealer says there is nothing that can correct problem. The repairs they have made are; recall update dct control logic, replace temp. Sensor and ecu update dct; seal vacuum pump update tcu (reset). |
