Description of the problem | All hyundai limited model trims have poor bulb housings for their headlights. There is a notch in the housing that covers the top part of the bulb and casts a large shadow in front of the vehicle, making driving at night a serious safety problem. I've already contacted the dealer and was told it was a known problem and that hyundai has yet to do anything about it. I've attached two photos showing the shadow/notch on each headlight. Keep in mind my vehicle has only 295 miles, and i just bought it a couple days ago. My wife is afraid to drive at night because she's afraid she won't be able to see something in front of her. There needs to be an investigation launched because it's only a matter of time until a serious injury is caused as a result of poor lighting and negligence on part of the auto manufacturer. |
