Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2017 hyundai tucson. The contact stated that the transmission slipped and the vehicle jerked violently sometimes. On one occasion, in a shopping plaza parking lot, the vehicle jerked violently, the steering wheel seized, and the vehicle accelerated on its own. The brakes failed to operate and the contact's vehicle crashed into a parked vehicle twice. The air bags did not deploy. The contact sustained injuries to the neck and back, which required medical assistance. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed by the police to an independent mechanic. The vehicle was then taken to an insurance body shop to be diagnosed, but a failure could not be located. The body damage was repaired. The failure mileage was 2,000. |
