Description of the problem | Bought new car, never in an accident. Exclt cond expt top coat paint is peeling from hood roof trunk. Was sent to a specialist and they informed me that it couldn't be chemicals because if chems had fallen on the car it would have eaten thru all coats. 11/22/02 took the car to joe valenti lynne's infiniti he took dig pics, submitted them to infiniti. 12/3 claimed that it was bird droppings or chems had fallen on car. Told joe why does it continue to appear in diff. Locations & it didn't eat all the way thru paint. He said that the case was closed. Called cust svc darryl in regards to the decision. Darryl said, joe claimed the car had chem damage. 12/6 called joe he said he never said that. 12/11spoke to debora fredrick (sup cust svc), said joe was lying. Nothing resolved. 12/16 kirk quinones svc mgrinfiniti told me will call infiniti to see if someone will look at the car in person. 12/17 kirk called and told me that they said he will look at car,if he determined it wasn't chems, they would send someone from infiniti to look at car. 12/18 took car to kirk for inspect. Said he was qualified to look at paint. He determined it couldn't be chems. Reported it as blistering. Said he will submit info & will call back tom. 1/8/03 said he had forgotten about me and he was calling infiniti now. 1/10 kirk called &told me that the inspector will come to see car. Scheduled meeting 1/16 10am. 1/16 arrived at dlr 10am.
